Celebrations and Appreciation

Anzac Day Appreciation - thanks to the teaching staff, family and friends who contributed to a whole week of activities that connected us with the events of 100 years ago.

Thanks to Debbie W for organising the installing of the new rugby posts. This project was initiated by Jett's passionate presentation to the BOT and SC and its very exciting to see the posts in the ground ready for the rugby season. Look forward to the grand opening including a visit by the Turbos.

A big thank you to Chelsea Green for hosting the Supporters Club meeting at Cafe Petit Fours in April.

Thanks to Max Wilson Jewellers for once again donating a major prize for the Mothers' Day Raffle. Your ongoing support is much appreciated.

Upcoming Events

Check out all the upcoming events that the Supporters Club are planning:
Term 2 events include hot dog lunch, Disco at College House on 15 May, Quiz night 4 July and Dough Boys Pie orders (June 24th, with delivery 1 July).

End of year update

Hi everyone
The minutes for the October and November meetings have been posted on the blog.
Thanks to everyone who has helped out during the year and hope that you have a relaxing break with your families over the summer.
Look forward to planning lots of great events for 2015 and fundraising towards a scooter park at RSS.

Coming up

Scholastic Book Fair

This is happening Thursday 28^th August to Monday 1^st September. We are looking for some helpers for this wonderful fundraiser. If you can help please text Leanne Fa’aea on 0211298811 with the day and time you can cover thanks.

This is a picture of the winning door from last years Scholastic Book Fair decorate your door competition......what will the competition be this year. Stay tuned to find out.

Calendars

Your Children will be busy soon creating some beautiful pictures for the Calendars this year, watch out for the order forms coming home later this term. These are great as gifts for Christmas. 

Supporters Club Lunches

Our first new lunch is with the Pita Pit on Thursday 14th August. Children will be bringing their forms home this week and the form and money need to be back to the office no later than 9am Wednesday 13th August. If you haven’t had a form come home there are spares located in the office.

Fathers Day Raffle

We are currently looking for raffle items for the Fathers Day Raffle, we have some great prizes already but if you have a voucher or item you or your work may like to offer for this raffle then please contact Debbie on woodroofe4@clear.net.nz by the 15th August.

Next Supporters Club Meeting

Thanks to all that have been coming along, there are some amazing ideas coming up at these meetings and it is great to hear all of what is happening at school. Without your help there are a lot of things that we wouldn't be able to achieve. 

The next meeting is Tuesday 19th August in the Staff Room. We would love to see you there.
